How do I care for my linens?

Our tea towels are 100% floursack cotton which means they are a slightly more casual material than our other products. They are super absorbent and we like to use them to dry dishes or dry our hands in the guest bathroom. If you are using these just for decoration, just wash and then do a low-heat dry. If you are using them for function, feel free to wash and dry as you wish!

Mended products are 100% cotton. For this reason, we suggest washing in cold water and then lay flat or hand to dry. You can also use a no-heat dry to help with the wrinkles.

You can also dry clean any of the Mended items for a no-fuss option.

We love our products that include gold shimmer! This does mean, however, that we suggest ensuring the product does not go in a dryer as the shimmer will begin to fade.

Quality Control

Yes! There will be! Each Mended product is hand block printed by our survivor artisan team and it will be apparent that an actual human printed your product. We think there is perfection in the imperfection. However, there are certainly times when the imperfection is too much and it missed our quality-control scans. Please don't keep something you don't love. Email us at info@mended.co and we'll make it right.

Our design team carefully curates and designs collections so that multiple products coordinate with each other. When our survivor artisans begin working on an order, a batch of color is made. While they have become experts at keeping our colors consistent from order to order, it is possible to see a 5% variance in color in different products. Please email us at info@mended.co if the color variance is more than you prefer.

Shipping

Once we receive your order, it will take our team 1-3 days to process the order. We then use USPS (sometimes UPS) to ship and their shipment times vary from 2-4 days depending on how far away you are from us in Dallas. You can typically expect to receive your order in 5-7 business days. Please note that we are a very small team and if we are traveling or at markets, we can be a little bit delayed.

If timing is of the essence, we are happy to choose the faster option and we will invoice you the increased amount. Please email us at info@mended.co to confirm that we can get it out the door quickly and we will make it happen.

Return Policy

We want you to be thrilled with your order! If for any reason you aren't, we'd be happy to accept unused products within 45-60 days of purchase. Please email us at info@mended.co with your reason for returning and order #. We will email you a prepaid shipping label and will refund you once we have received the returned product.
