FINLEY X MENDED
Finley Shirts, Inc., a distinguished Dallas-based women’s clothing brand, and The Mended Company, LLC, a social-impact company also based in Dallas, are thrilled to announce a unique and meaningful collaboration launching to the consumer in Spring 2025. This partnership brings together Finley’s feminine, fun, and impeccably tailored apparel designs with Mended’s story-driven hand-block printed fabrics created by survivors of modern-day slavery in South Asia.
Launching to customers at a variety of retailers, Spring 2025. We can't wait to see how you love each hand block printed piece.
Each piece hand printed
In a small rural community in South Asia, there are 14 men and women who are working full-time (and earning above-fair market wages) to hand block print a variety of textiles. For our partnership with Finley, our survivor artisans have learned a new skill of printing large bolts of fabric. Eeach Mended design is expertly carved into wooden blocks, dipped into dye and then hand printed over every inch of fabric. Each color used represents a new block. The first color is printed, then time is needed to dry the first layer before the second layer can be printed. The large bolts of fabric are then carefully folded and shipped to Dallas, TX where Finley then cuts and sews each piece into the final product that you know and love. We are immensely grateful for this partnership and we hope you love each piece.
